The one that everyone can remember. The one that introduced a next-generation platform to us. It was the original, unforgettable GameCube title from 2002 - Conker's Bad Fur Day. In recent years, it has been brought to modern consoles and handheld platforms, but for a large segment of players, it will always be a GameCube title - a gem in the rough you almost never forget about its original incarnation. From our talk with Tameem Antoniades late last year, we got an update on the state of the game and how it tied in with other projects he had been working on at Rare these days. "Conker's Bad Fur Day Remastered will be a full remaster of the GameCube original. I'd say it's probably 90% complete. We're aiming to have it out in the first half of 2017. I have been working on Conker''s Origins Story, which is a prototype for an adventure game that's pretty much a bad-ass interpretation of the story from Bad Fur Days." In 2002, Rare released 'Conker's Bad Fur Day' as a launch title for their new Nintendo GameCube console. The game was met with mixed reviews, with critics finding it to be fun if not overly interesting and much more enjoyable than their other early efforts during this time period. The game was also very popular with the public at the time, receiving high sales. A sequel was released in 2004 called 'Conker 64' which had more loyal fans of the series, but still received mixed reviews. For the first time ever on a Nintendo platform, this game has been remastered, fully updated graphics rendering it sharper and richer than ever! Gripes: It's basically a proof of concept for what Rare would be doing with the next generation of video game consoles. The game is buggy, the graphics are a little rough around the edges and it's a little bit easy, too. But it's a great time capsule of the early days of the Nintendo GameCube and Rare's first major release on that console. Not that any of that matters these days because Conker is almost indestructible, but still one of the best-designed characters ever to appear in a video game. By Vandal Noob The Gameplay: In this case, where difficultly is concerned it's not "difficult", in the sense that you could be frustrated by its gameplay. It's tough but fair. It's not overly hard but it has its challenging parts. Conker's Bad Fur Day was designed to be hard, yet fun at the same time. The story is not the greatest if you're expecting something epic, but it will keep you entertained all the way. From beginning to end, this game delivers humor of the highest note, no matter if you're playing solo or co-op with a friend. It may be a little difficult to grasp some of the dialogue at first because of its new form of speech (the old english), but you'll get used to it quite quickly...well... cfa1e77820
